World of Warcraft is a video game whose structure really helps to make people to think in a creative way. In this game, performance is determined in terms of points gained through experience which players can accumulate by doing several tasks. The difficulty gets much more challenging as you go up in levels.

Whenever you win all the necessary points, you can then progress to higher and more challenging levels in the game. The obstacles and degree of complexity both increase exponentially as you move up in levels. The required number of experience points that you need to move to the next level, also increases.

For knowledgeable players, it becomes easier, since they become skilled at finding resources in World of Warcraft. They're then, able to learn and advance faster even as the challenges become more difficult. If you compare it to lower returns commonly encountered in business, players here can greatly increase their returns to learning.

As with other promising developments, it is usually hard to discern the relevance of this game to people who work in business environments. World of Warcraft comes in handy because it creates a powerful learning platform. Many of the approaches used in the game could be instrumental in helping executives improve performance in their own entities. The game is structured in a way that allows practically anyone to join and gain a sense of accomplishment. Though the earlier tasks are quite easy, novices quickly learn to innovate and adapt their approach to performance challenges.

It also provides players with a mechanism to assess performance in form of levels and experience points. It also enables them make comparisons with their teammates in various dimensions. Feedback is visible to everyone, not just individual contributors.

World of Warcraft is also updated to continually challenge players so that they develop new skills ever time. It's hard for you to encounter boredom and complacency. However, the difficulty level is also calibrated thoughtfully to match the capabilities of players in order to avoid frustration. This method could be adopted in a corporate environment so as to spur innovation among the people.
