This is the easiest part and anyone can do this. There is a process below and all you have to do is follow them. So you will not be electrocuted. It can be done in a few minutes. Just make sure that it fits perfectly and you will not do anything that will mess it up. Some people does like to replace them all the time.

That is why they choose to buy something that is of good quality. Having a good one will refrain them from buying always and keep changing. Replacement hard drive can only last for several minutes to do it. But ensure that they are not working anymore. Check if it is time to change for a new one.

Here are the steps that you should apply. This is very easy and simplified so anyone will not have a hard time. Always choose something that will benefit you and could save time. When you buy for a new one, make sure that it should be of the same type and is compatible.

Start in backing up your files. You never know what could happen. This is for your own sake. Especially those files that are very important to you. There is a tendency that you could not recover them without moving and making a copy of them. You could transfer it to another hard drive. Like USB that can accommodates a lot of space.

Once you are done, shut down the computer. This is for safety purposes. So you will not be electrocuted. Performing the precautionary measures are compulsory. This is for your own sake and not other people. So you could avoid any problems that may happen later. This is not something that you would make fun of. Because it is your life that is at risk.

Open the case of the computer. Do not dismantle your monitor. You should focus on the central processing unit or CPU. And be ready with your screw drivers. You would be needing them. Because some of them uses screw that you need to unscrew. If there is a door, then remove it when you can.

Then once it is open, you can locate the old one that you need to change. Just be careful and no need to rush in getting them out. So you will not create a mess and damage to other parts that are found inside. Most of them are screwed in their location. This should not be a problem if you have the tools to do it.

Take out all the screws that bind them to the PC. Just use your hand and make sure you will never touch any surface of it. Do not throw them away and hold them properly and put them on the side. Never drop it. If you see the jumpers found in the old one, take it so it will be used on the new one. And they should match together.

Place the new one and do procedures above. Check if you did not missed anything. Turn on the PC and see if how it works. And the software you have before is still there. If not, install them again.
